OPPOSING VIEW

Designed by Ann Reichlin and fabricated by blacksmith Durand Van Doren II, Opposing View  is a bench that invites two people at a time to enjoy a quiet moment. Facing in opposite directions, the smooth cedar seats rest upon the linear steel framework. Both a 3D drawing and comfortable bench, Opposing View  uses the architecture of the bench to play with social interaction. Opposing View is currently on display on the grounds of Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown, NY.
